Humane Society for Seattle/King County
The Humane Society for Seattle/King County is a private, nonprofit dedicated to bringing people and pets together. We save more animals’ lives and provide more spay/neuter surgeries than any other private animal shelter doing business in King County. Ou Sharon Carpenter, 425-649-7567.
NEEDS: Pet food donations are needed to restock the Pet Food Bank, which feeds about 900 dogs and cats every month. These are the beloved pets of needy senior citizens, people with AIDS and other low-income pet owners. Without our Pet Food Bank, many would have to give up their pets, or have to choose between feeding themselves or their pet. Dry cat food is especially needed, but all kinds of pet food are welcome. The goal of this Holiday Pet Food Drive is 12 tons – we distribute over two tons each
