Game time: Fortson, with his fifth team in eight NBA seasons, has missed a lot of time with injuries. But, healthy with Golden State in 2001-02, he averaged 11.7 rebounds, 11.2 points. Sonics would love to see that type of production. Limited offensive game, but creates opportunities as a tenacious offensive rebounder.

Former Sonics connection: Fortson was drafted by Milwaukee, 10th overall in 1997, but traded to Denver for Ervin Johnson.
