Information
Three trails within three miles of town, plus tubing and rope tows.
Trails — Ski Hill, one mile north of town on Ski Hill Drive, 7 K groomed and all 5 K trails lighted and open dusk until 11 p.m. Golf course and Waterfront Park total 11 K, both groomed. Icicle River, three miles south of town near fish hatchery, 8 K groomed. Most trails have double-set tracks and a skating lane. Also a tubing park with a tube lift. Alpine skiing with two rope tows is offered at Ski Hill.
Open — Daily, dawn to dusk, starting around early December, depending on snow. Tube park and alpine skiing is lit at night on Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
Facilities, services — Food services are available at the Icicle River trail. Ski Hill and Waterfront Park offer snack bars, restaurants, coffee shops in downtown area.
