At exhibition center, party will stay dry

Sharing ice-cold drinks, potato chips and pregame predictions with friends are what tailgate parties are made of. Unfortunately, the start of the Seahawks' season typically marks the return of low clouds and rainy forecasts, leaving many outdoor party plans pooped.

Not to worry.

Seahawks Stadium has come up with an umbrella-free solution that's sure to get the party started before the coin toss.

The concept is simple: Fans can park, party, then go directly to their seats without stepping foot outside. After parking in the Seahawks Exhibition Center on the west side of the stadium between Occidental and Royal Brougham, fans will be lured to the party downstairs.

The Seahawks Tailgate Party kicks off before every home game in the Exhibition Center. The doors open three hours before game time and close at kickoff. Concessions, Sea Gals performances, Seahawks alumni appearances, interactive games and NFL broadcasts on multi-screen televisions are a portion of the pregame party.
