Chris Gray, right guard Ht.: 6-4. Wt.: 308 pounds. College: Auburn. Experience: 12th season. Nickname: "C.G." or, jokingly, "Chris Gary." What he does best: Gray is a smart, durable and disciplined player who takes his job very seriously. A former center who might be in his last few years in the NFL. Where he needs improvement: Must concentrate on staying low to maintain leverage. Age may finally take its toll. The Lav Line: "You know Chris is going to do the right thing. He’s consistent and works hard. He’s a competitor." Jose Miguel Romero Bill Laveroni gives his comments in The Lav Line. The past two seasons, Laveroni was the team’s assistant line coach, and he takes over this season for Tom Lovat, who retired. Lovat spent 12 years working for coach Mike Holmgren.
