Dillard, 23, is an alternate for the U.S. team. A middle blocker and Long Beach State graduate, she has been on the U.S. national team developmental squad, but moved to a starting role for the national team over the summer, finishing with 18 kills and five blocks in one match against Japan. She competed for the U.S. in the 1999 World University Games. Her 1998 Long Beach State team went undefeated to win the NCAA title.
