May '04: Mariners up to more of the same
The month of May wasn't as bad as April, but it wasn't much better. Seattle finished the month at 11-16 (In April they finished at 8-15). The bullpen went up and down and the bats were hit and miss.
But there were positives.
Raul Ibanez continued to hit clutch for the Mariners, Freddy floated on with his hot pitching and "Everyday" Eddie Guardado is still the man when it comes to saves.

May photo gallery The story for the M's in May was more of the same. Some ups, some downs and a lot of question marks.
