June '04: Trade winds blow Freddy to Chicago
The month of June was much like the rest of the season. Lots of misses and a few hits. But the biggest news didn't come on the field, it came from the front office.

Freddy Garcia (along with Ben Davis) was traded to the White Sox for C Miguel Olivo, OF Jeremy Reed and SS Michael Morse. While the team gets a healthy dose of youth, the M's lost one of their best pitchers.
