April '04: M's off to worst start in franchise history
The M's didn't wait till September to slump. Sitting at the bottom of the AL West, Seattle definitely has their work cut out for them. How bad was it? Well, here's some numbers from the month of April:

The M's finished April: 8-15
The M's April batting avg.: .256
The M's April ERA: 5.25
M's starters victories in April: 3
M's starters losses in April: 9

The Mariners have a lot of catching up to do with the rest of the AL West. That said, here's some other interesting stuff from the month of April.
