KEY STATS
THE ART OF ICHIRO
The M's finished the season 38-44 at home this season, their first losing record at Safeco Field. It is also Seattle's first losing record at home since 1992. The 44 games lost is the most since 1988 (44).
Ichiro goes through the same routine before each pitch: take a practice swing, doing a knee bend, extending the bat with his right arm, then tugging on the shoulder of his jersey.
