Kentlake volleyball completes three-peat Kentlake's Teri Farnsworth (12) gets the winning shot past Puyallup's Stephanie Olsen (11) and teammate during the girls 4A volleyball championships on Nov. 15 in Spokane. Cross country: Riverside's Moe wins 4A state Auburn Riverside High School senior Carl Moe gets a hug from his grandmother Greta Moulijn after winning first place in the Class 4A boys race at the state cross country meet in Pasco on Nov. 9. Kukors sets girls swimming mark; Rogers claims title Auburn's Emily Kukors won the 100 meter freestyle state championship in a time of 50.29, defending her 2001 title and bettering the all-time mark of 50.33 set in 1999 by Sara Platzer of 3A Lakes. Kukors also won the state title in the 200 individual medley in 2:01.14. Class 4A: Gymnasts even the stakes in individual competition At the state gymnatics championships at the Tacoma Dome, Brittany Billmaier of Woodinville performs on the balance beam. Billmaier, the defending 4A beam champion, was the all-around favorite until she aggravated a shoulder injury on bars at the district meet. She placed fourth in the beam.
