Kennewick 58, Skyview 31
By George Edgar The Lions roared their way past Skyview to the quarterfinals, using a stifling defense to limit the Storm to single-digit scoring in the final three quarters. After a 16-13 first period, Kennewick (24-2) outscored the Storm 42-18 the rest of the way. Their defense forced 27 Skyview turnovers, leading to 20 Lions points, and held Skyview to 29 percent field goal shooting (12 of 41). Senior guard Autumn Fielding led the Lions with 18 points, junior guard Leilani Mitchell added 14, and junior center Lindsay Macicoba added 12. Tiffanie Ward led Skyview (22-6) with 11 points and 12 rebounds.
