DOB: 7/14/80
Occupation: IT consultant
Education: Did not respond.

Family/personal: I was born and raised in Kenmore. Now I am a father of two daughters, ages 5 and 16 months.

Public service/volunteer experience: I have served my community locally through service projects as a Boy Scout. I also spent two years as a missionary in Guatemala.

What two issues concern you most in the race? The most pressing issue is the decision to ban or allow cardrooms in Kenmore. I will vote to ban cardrooms to avoid the negative effects on the city. Failure to ban will discourage investment in other projects that will generate additional revenue, improve the quality of life, and beautify the city. The lost revenue from the cardroom will be insignificant compared to the revenue that will be generated as a result of implementation of the downtown plan and the development of Lakepointe. Another area of great concern is the development in and around St. Edward State Park. We should encourage the growth of Bastyr University, but must be prepared to mitigate the effects this will have on the park, increased traffic, and the surrounding community. The addition of a hotel and pub within the park must be avoided. I will send the message to the state that our park is not the appropriate place for such establishments. We must do all we can to preserve our park.
