Campaign theme: Regular people need a voice in Olympia. Working families, seniors, retirees and small businesses are all being squeezed by the disproportionate power of multinational corporate lobbying money.

Questions for candidates

Do you support the initiative to raise the sales tax 1 penny to raise money for schools and higher education? Reluctantly yes. The cause of fully funding education is a just one, but by adding yet another burden upon those who can least afford it by increasing the sales tax only further exacerbates the economic plight of our entire state by fueling the downward spiral of the economy->revenue->services. We have to come up with a long-term solution to the revenue problem facing education, health care, and a multitude of other worthy causes that our state must fund.

Are you happy with Washington's new primary? Are you supporting the initiative that would give Washington a "top 2" primary system that the parties oppose? No. Undecided.

What do you think of the initiative to expand the use of slot machines to reduce taxes? Oppose.
