Why are you running for this office?
I want to serve in the larger arena of state government. The office of lieutenant governor is a clearly defined position that does not in and of itself carry the power and prestige of other offices and is not a steppingstone to other positions, but does offer an opportunity to be of service in a broad range of areas in state government and an unparalleled view of the governing process.
