Why are you running for this office?
When I ran for lieutenant governor four years ago, I promised to make children and safe communities the hallmarks of my administration. I would like the opportunity to continue. I have visited more than 240 schools talking about the danger of drugs. I have also led the effort to reactivate the Statutory Committee on Economic Development and have led trade and cultural missions.
