Why are you running for this office?
When our state was founded a lieutenant governor was necessary: Communication could take days, and life expectancies were shorter. Today neither is an issue. The majority leader or secretary of state could preside over the Senate. We should abolish this office and save taxpayers nearly a half-million dollars a year! My quest for this office means putting myself out of work as soon as possible!
