1.  Should Congress act to lower the cost of prescription drugs? If so, should Congress create a Medicare drug benefit?
The exorbitant cost of prescription drugs should act as an incentive for people to learn how to be healthy. Just think how much individuals and taxpayers could save by being healthy enough to not need these drugs. Meanwhile, I would probably vote for some sort of congressional interim help. I would tend not to implement other entitlements.

7.  Should the government pay to give school vouchers to parents who choose to send their children to private schools?
No, the government should not pay to give school vouchers to parents who choose to send their children to private schools.

8.  Is there any project in Washington that deserves more federal support? How would you secure that funding?
Agricultural research. I would initiate legislation that would create a food-security branch of national defense. We have a glut of food, which is creating a financial threat to our domestic food security.
