I will continue to promote justice for all, to conduct dispute resolutions in a skilled and timely manner, to resolve cases impartially, courteously and preserve the parties' dignity.

1. to support reform in legal procedures involving children and families

Endorsements:
King County Police Guild; 11th, 46th, 47th District Democrats

Why are you running for this office?
In a recent King County Bar poll, the incumbent ranked the lowest of the 49 judges on the bench. This is consistent with the assessment of the bar in Kittitas County, where she served one term as a judge in the 1980s. I believe that with my experience as a judge pro tem, deputy prosecutor and staff attorney at the Court of Appeals, I can do a better job.

What will be your top three priorities if elected?
1. establish myself as a well-respected, effective member of the bench
2. expand use of technology in the courtroom to increase efficiency
3. provide sufficent information about judicial candidates so the electorate can make informed choices

To continue to give the people a judge who will yield fair decisions and a better judiciary. I will continue to communicate with legislators, especially regarding the sentencing of criminal offenders. I will also continue to hold people accountable for their actions, both in civil and criminal matters.

What will be your top three priorities if elected?
1. making fair, reasoned and knowledgeable decisions
2. upholding the Constitution
3. change juvenile sentencing to discourage future unlawful behavior

I have always received the greatest satisfaction from public service and would like to become a judge so that I can devote myself fulltime to public service. I chose position 26 because the incumbent, Jeanette Burrage, is not qualified.

What will be your top three priorities if elected?
1. an even-handed hearing for everyone; render just decision
2. improve access to justice
3. make court procedures more understandable to citizens
