Why are you running for this office?

My main reason for running is to try to correct the senseless banning of marijuana. My hope is that I, as a physician and a former state legislator, with knowledge and insight on this subject not possessed by most people, can persuade many of those opposed to legalizing it to change their minds.

1. free birth control to improve living conditions and lessen overpopulation
2. legalize medically assisted suicide
3. equal treatment for gays in military, marriage, adoption, schools
