To provide leadership to realize the goals of education and economic opportunity for all. My background growing up in Yesler Terrace Housing Project, my education, my personal values and my experience as a state legislator and King County executive uniquely equip me to lead our state.

What will be your top three priorities if elected?
1. education: improve academic achievement, safe schools, access to college
2. economy: job retraining, targeted tax rollbacks to encourage new jobs
3. public safety: deal with criminals severely, step up crime prevention
