Ken Lambert came to The Seattle Times after 12 years covering the White House, Capitol Hill and the Pentagon. He worked for The Associated Press for two years in Washington, D.C., before coming to Seattle.

Some of his favorite assignments include the Roosevelt Elk herd in Olympic National Park and Mount St. Helens' glowing lava at night.
