Like Superman changing his clothes, shovel racer John Strader dons his street clothes to reveal a skin tight speed suit, like luge racers wear in competition. He's about to enter "Odin's Fire," his entry in the "modified" class of shovel racing. Believe it or not, there is a shovel blade beneath the chassis, which runs for the most part on two skis.
