A collision occurs between the United State, Italy and Korea in the semifinals of the men's 5,000-meter speedskating relay. Korea's Ryoung Min falls to the ice and takes Italy's Nicola Rodigari with him. American Rusty Smith tries to stay out of traffic. Min was injured and taken away by stretcher, and the race re-run.
