Seattle residents could potentially save millions of dollars in reservoirs, piping and storm drains if they used more of the water that falls from their roofs. This is a schematic of a simple system that puts gutter water into a covered rain barrel where it could be used for watering lawns and gardens, and flushing toilets. |
