| Jeff Taton's Chicken Adobo |
| 1 (4-pound) chicken,
cut into 12 pieces 2 cups soy sauce 2 cups vinegar 2 cups water 5 cloves garlic, peeled and crushed 1 tablespoon cracked black pepper 2 bay leaves Steamed white rice Rinse the chicken and put it in a pot with soy sauce, vinegar, water, garlic, pepper and bay leaves. Bring the mixture to a boil and reduce heat to medium-low. Keep the chicken boiling gently for 45 minutes. Serve hot with steamed rice. |
