Linking librarians wirelessly
Librarians will wear small communication badges, the only visible part of the Vocera communications system -- one of the library's major technological upgrades. The system operates over a wireless network and consists of a receiver, a computer server and wearable, voice-controlled badges. Librarians will be able to contact and locate one another anywhere in the building. |
