Sen. Jeanne Kohl-Welles, D-Seattle, has done impressive work putting Washington state at the forefront of legislative and law enforcement efforts to combat sex trafficking of minors.
The Seattle Times editorial board has begun a conversation about how government at all levels should respond to the new economic realities. These suggestions, including from Times readers and community leaders, are aimed at how government at the federal, state and county levels can make changes to better serve constituents, including reinvigorating the economy.
