The People's Pub
Here's a place to eat, drink and be merry. Despite its plain, dowdy façade, the People's Pub in Ballard serves adventure in draughts and on platters. Someone has taken great care with the small but exotic beer list, and with the authentic, delicious German dishes, which rely on unusual mixes of ingredients for stunning results. Swig Doppelbock and sip hot, spiced Gluhwein as you marvel over spätzle, Paprikaschnitzel and warm sauerkraut with brown sugar, but don't forget to breathe. The scents of each dish are almost as good as the first — and last — bite.
