Wet week to follow Monday storm
Seattle Times staff reporter
MIKE SIEGEL / THE SEATTLE TIMES
Utility workers inspect downed power lines Monday where a tree toppled by high winds fell onto the cab of a pickup on Northeast Novelty Hill Road near 208th Avenue Northeast in Redmond. The driver of the truck was injured, but not seriously. A King County sheriff's deputy was hit by a motorist while directing traffic in the area and was treated at the scene. Winds should taper off today, but it's expected to be a wet week in the Seattle area.
