Tourist train derails in British Columbia, no injuriesThe Associated Press GOLDEN, British Columbia – Six cars from a luxury tourist train carrying 563 passengers and crew members derailed near Rogers Pass, authorities said. All six cars from the Rocky Mountaineer train remained upright, no one was injured and there was no environmental damage, said a spokesman for Rocky Mountaineer Vacations. The train was heading west toward Kamloops from Calgary, Alberta, when the derailment occurred between Golden and Revelstoke about noon Sunday. Passengers were taken by bus about 50 miles to Golden to board another train Monday.
