Reader postcard | Cannon Beach, Ore.
A weekly feature of readers' travel photos.
Location: Cannon Beach, Ore.
Photographer: Tom Guffey, Marysville
Photographer's description: Looking south, from the dunes on the north end of the beach. Haystack Rock is in the distance. I wanted to include the grass and dunes, so it looks like you could walk right onto the sand. It was late afternoon and I shot this with a Canon 5D, with a 16-35 F2/8, with a polarizer — to cut the reflections and add to the blue sky. I don't think it gets much better than this!
