West Seattle Water Taxi service is canceled at least through Wednesday morning, according to its website.
Tuesday evening service is not affected.
The website said service is canceled "through at least the morning" for warranty repairs on a small defective weld in the water taxi's hull.
The county's Marine Division hopes repairs will be made in time for the water taxi to resume its normal schedule Wednesday afternoon, but riders should stay informed throughout the day by signing up for text or email alerts at metro.kingcounty.gov/signup/index.html, checking the West Seattle Water Taxi website at kingcounty.gov/watertaxi, or calling 684-1551.
