Hiker who died in Mt. Pilchuck fall identified

The man who fell from a cliff while hiking on Mount Pilchuck earlier this week was identified as Don M. Grant, 29, of Bellingham.
The Snohomish County Medical Examiner's Office said Grant died of multiple blunt-force injuries from a fall on the mountain Tuesday. The death was ruled an accident.
Grant was hiking with friends but separated from his party on the way down. Search-and-rescue officials said he apparently fell off a 300-foot cliff.
