FEDERAL WAY HIGH SCHOOL
Kareem Harris.
King County prosecutors have charged a man with attempted murder for allegedly shooting his former boss.
Karim Harris, 27, of Puyallup, has been charged with attempted second-degree murder but remains on the loose, said Federal Way police spokeswoman Cathy Schrock. Harris is accused of shooting a man in the 100 block of South 340th Street in Federal Way.
Harris is accused of shooting Wilbur Gant while the 47-year-old man sat inside a car on Oct. 28, according to charging papers filed in King County Superior Court. Gant identified Harris as the gunman, according to the charging papers. Gant told police that they had worked together at Milgard Windows in Fife, but had been fighting since Harris was fired, court papers said.
Harris was fired in May after allegedly falsifying his time card, court papers said.
Harris is is 6-feet-1, 195 pounds with brown eyes and black hair.
Anyone who sees Harris should dial 911. He should be considered armed and dangerous, Schrock said.
