Gunshots fired after robbery at hair salon
Posted by John de Leon
Police are looking for two males who robbed a hair salon in the 2300 block of 15th Avenue South last night and then fired gunshots as they left. No one was injured.
Two males wearing all black clothing and ski masks and armed with handguns walked into the salon around 6:37 p.m. When an employee walked to the front of the store one of the males grabbed her by the shirt and ordered her to the floor. Both males demanded money and she handed over some cash.
A second employee, who heard the noise and went to see what was going on, was ordered at gunpoint to walk to the rear of the business. At that point the first employee ran outside and went to a gas station across the street, where she asked for help.
Both males fled. The victims and several citizens heard one or two gunshots as they two males left the area.
