Search suspended for missing Snohomish County pilot

The state Department of Transportation has suspended its search for Gordon Last of Lake Roesiger, who was last seen flying a Taylorcraft plane similar to the one pictured here.
The state Department of Transportation's Aviation Division has suspended the air search for missing pilot Gordon Last, 51, of Lake Roesiger, and his Taylorcraft airplane. Last has been missing since he left Snohomish's Harvey Field on Oct. 10.
Since Oct. 11 search teams have flown a total of about 250 hours. The search was first conducted over Snohomish County and was later moved to Grays Harbor County, the southeast corner of Thurston County and a portion of northwest Lewis County.
According to reports, the plane had no emergency locator beacon or transponder. Last did not file a flight plan.
Anyone who may have information on Last or the missing aircraft is still encouraged to contact the DOT's search staff at missingaircraft@wsdot.wa.gov or 360-410-0461
