Juvenile arrested for firing shots at passing car in North Seattle
Posted by John de Leon
A juvenile was arrested last night after he reportedly fired several gunshots at Northeast 125th Street and Lake City Way Northeast.
At about 11:15 p.m., several callers to 911 reported gunshots in the area. One of the callers said that someone had fired at least three gunshots at his car.
While police were searching the area another caller reported hearing a gunshot fired near her home. She said the gunman was at the side of her house and she overheard him saying that he had shot someone. Police responded and found the suspect hiding in the bushes and talking on a cell phone. A handgun was found next to the suspect.
He was booked into the Youth Service Center for investigation of assault.
There were no reports of property damage or injured victims, police said.
