Man carjacked on Rainier Avenue South
Posted by John de Leon
Seattle police are looking for two men and two women who carjacked a vehicle early this morning near Rainier Avenue South and South Rose Street.
The victim told police he was leaving the area just after 1 a.m. in a maroon Toyota Corolla when a silver Jeep Cherokee pulled in front of him on Rainier Avenue South.
The victim said a heavy-set man was driving the Cherokee. A male passenger got out of the Cherokee, walked up to the passenger side of the Corolla and opened the door. Two females also got out of the Cherokee and walked up to the driver's side of the Corolla. The man punched the victim and told him to get out of the Corolla as the females pulled him from the car.
The three got into the car and drove off south on Rainier Avenue South followed by the Cherokee.
The victim described all of suspects as black and in their early 20s. Police did not find the vehicles nor the suspects.
