Kitsap Sun: Young thieves ride off with pony keg
Posted by John de Leon
Three young men made a different kind of beer run after lifting a keg from a beer delivery man last week, the Kitsap Sun is reporting.
The beer distributor had parked in an alley behind a Silverdale restaurant Wednesday to make a delivery. He noticed three young men in a maroon Chevrolet Lumina parked nearby.
The distributor unloaded a pony keg and walked to the other side of the truck to get a hand cart. That's when he heard a door slam and one of the occupants of the Chevy toss the keg into the back seat. The young men then drove off.
He described the car's occupants as males between the ages of 16 and 20.
The keg, which held 7.75 gallons of beer, was valued at $105.
