Reward offered following arsons in downtown Snoqualmie
Posted by John de Leon
Fire investigators have determined that three fires early this morning in downtown Snoqualmie were arson.
At 2:03 a.m., firefighters from the Snoqualmie Fire Department responded to a fire in a trash container at the Northwest Railway Museum. Firefighters arrived within five minutes and found the majority of the fire controlled by a fire sprinkler system.
At 3:54 a.m., a second fire was reported in a trash container that was pushed up against a building behind the Bella Vita Spa & Salon on Southeast King Street. Snoqualmie and Fall City fire units extinguished the fire and at the same time noticed that a third fire had been started in a trash container behind Snoqualmie City Hall. However, that fire had not spread to the adjacent building.
Estimated damages for all three fires totals about $13,000.
A $10,000 reward has been offered for any information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible by calling 1-800-55-ARSON.
