Motorcyclist severely injured in traffic collision

A motorcyclist suffered life-threatening injuries this afternoon in a traffic collision in North Seattle, police said.
At 1:40 p.m., a motorcyclist reportedly driving at a high rate of speed east on North 143rd Street collided with the rear of vehicle that was heading north on Evanston Avenue North. The motorcyclist was taken to Harborview Medical Center with what police described as life-threatening injuries.
