Say the words "laser show" and acts like Pink Floyd and the Beatles — two staples at Pacific Science Center — come to mind. But not every laser spectacular is rock-oriented. Seattle Opera's BRAVO! Club is throwing some arias into the mix with its 7th Annual Laser Opera Show.

The club, which promotes opera events for people ages 21-39, offers a mix of dramatic and lyrical opera excerpts, including tunes from Puccini's "Madama Butterfly," Verdi's "Don Carlo" and "Attila," Orff's "Carmina Burana," Mozart's "Così fan tutte" and Gluck's "Orphée et Euridice."

The show, titled "Out of This World: Exploring Heaven, Hell, and Some Great Opera in Between," is for all ages and was put together by Seattle Opera education director Sue Elliott, who also narrates it.

Casual attire is encouraged. These events are sprawl-on-the-floor informal, so bring pillows and blankets to enhance your comfort. 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Pacific Science Center Laser Dome, 200 Second Ave. N.; free for BRAVO! Club members, $10 for others (206-676-5553 or www.bravoclub.org).
