Kathy Najimy, Seattle Women's Chorus 'Swing Into Laughter'

Actor and activist Kathy Najimy joins the Seattle Women's Chorus for shows this weekend called "Swing into Laughter." Najimy, who has appeared on such TV shows as "Veronica's Closet," "Ugly Betty" and "Desperate Housewives" — and has had voice roles in "King of the Hill" and "WALL-E" — will join the chorus in songs written by women for women. 8 p.m. Friday and 2 p.m. Saturday, Paramount Theatre, 911 Pine St., Seattle; $20-$55 (206-388-1400 or www.flyinghouse.com)
