KING FM expands its board

KING FM continues to move toward listener-supported status with expansion of its board.

Seattle Times arts writer

KING FM has expanded its board as part of its transition from being a commercial radio station to being a listener-supported organization. The new board members are Steve Mowe (president/owner of Delta Tech), Scott McAdams (founder and CEO of McAdams Wright Ragen) and community volunteer Mary Pigott (former owner-operator of Rainy Day Books in Issaquah). The Seattle classical-music radio station's shift to public-supported status was announced in March and is expected to be complete by July 2011.
