'When I Come to My Senses, I'm Alive!'

Plays tonight through May 22, Annex Theatre, 1100 E. Pike St., Seattle (800-838-3006 or www.annextheatre.org).

Feeling any digitized emotions yet?

Perhaps not, but Seattle author Scotto Moore's new play, "When I Come to My Senses, I'm Alive!," which premieres tonight at Annex Theatre, envisions a not-too-distant future in which a "technological provocateur" discovers a way to chart the "emotional genome" on the Internet — and an entertainment conglomerate plots to filch her invention.

Hey, it might be sci-fi — but these days it doesn't sound far-fetched at all to us ...
