Snoqualmie Valley Festival of Music set for August in North Bend
Snoqualmie Valley Arts announces the first Snoqualmie Valley Festival of Music in North Bend.
Fans of chamber music and the outdoors can enjoy both at the Snoqualmie Valley Festival of Music, planned for Aug. 7-8 at Mountain Meadows Farm in North Bend.
Each evening's lineup features the Cascade Jazz Quintet, which plays Latin classics, swing and tunes from Coleman, Monk and Coltrane; Harley Brumbaugh's 60-member Voices of the Valley chorus; and the Vardi Chamber Players with Lenore Vardi.
Parking will be free and food and wine will be sold on the premises, organizers say.
"We want to create events that families can enjoy together and that celebrate this area's incredible talent," says Dick Ryon, Snoqualmie Valley Arts member.
Tickets, $10-$45, go on sale May 13 at www.brownpapertickets.com.
