Images of spring at G. Gibson Gallery
Artists Marc Dennis, Nealy Blau, Larry Calkins, Justin Gibbens and JoAnn Verburg show images of plants and animals at Seattle's G. Gibson Gallery through April 18.
Dreaming artfully of spring
On these cold March days, we can at least dream about spring, can't we? And no better way to plant the idea in your nocturnal brain than by visiting Marc Dennis' hyper-real paintings of animals and plants at G. Gibson Gallery, 300 S. Washington St., Seattle (206-587-4033 or www.ggibsongallery.com). Pieces from Dennis' series "Bird Thinking of a Cloud" are on view through April 18, alongside other beautiful and sometimes disturbing images of nature by Nealy Blau, Larry Calkins, Justin Gibbens and JoAnn Verburg.
