The Northwest Puppet Center's Carter family puppeteers translated a 19th-century Venetian puppet script for this classic fairy tale. 1 and 3 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays through Dec. 21. $8.50 children, $10.50 adults, $9 seniors. The center is in a renovated church in the Maple Leaf neighborhood of Seattle and includes a playground and puppet exhibits. 9123 15th Ave N.E., Seattle (206-523-2579 or www.nwpuppet.org).
