"The Truth About Binge Drinking," 8 p.m. (BBC America): Michelle Heaton, a party girl who has made headlines primarily for her alcoholic excesses, embarks on a 30-day experiment in which she'll consume a minimum of 60 drinks each week — while under a doctor's supervision — in order to cure herself of temptation.
"Ace of Cakes," 10 p.m. (Food): Duff Goldman and his bakery crew rev up their mixers and fill their pastry bags in this holiday-themed Season 8 premiere.
"Jersey Shore," 10 p.m. (MTV): Those housewives from Franklin Lakes may want to start looking over their shoulders. Billed in a promo as a glimpse into the inner sanctum of a house on the New Jersey shore filled with the "hottest, tannest, craziest Guidos," this new series promises a summer's worth of high hair, juiced muscles and pumping fists.
